Lost in Paradise (Paradise Club #2)(7)

“That was hot,” Granger mumbles against my throat.

“That was amazing.” I’m panting, still trying to catch my breath as I close my eyes feeling awfully tired suddenly. And before I know it, Granger is scooping me up off the deck and carrying me through the bungalow. I cling to him before he deposits me at the entrance of my shower. He opens the door and adjusts the water temperature before whipping my dress up over my head.

Now, I’m naked.

In front of this Adonis.

Why do I feel self-conscious suddenly?

He then picks me up and deposits me in the shower, taking the full brunt of the shower first before letting me go. Granger lets me step underneath the rain shower to get fully wet before reaching for the soap and lathering me up with his hands. They run along my body, over my hips, across my stomach, then he slides slowly across each of my breasts before his fingers give my nipples the slightest of tweaks which shoots electric white heat to my center. Easy girl, you’ve just been battered. You can’t possibly want more. His hands then slide over my shoulders, where he begins giving me a massage. It feels amazing as he continues releasing all the knots I have tangled up under my skin until my eyes shut, and I fall back against his hard chest. A soft chuckle falls from his lips at this point.

“Looks like I’ve worn you out,” Granger states as he washes the soap off my skin. I let out a satisfied hum, unable to move an inch from his strong embrace, which, in turn, makes him chuckle. He turns the faucet off and picks me up, walks me out of the shower, then dries me off.

He’s wrapped a towel around his waist before picking me up, and now he is carrying me back out of the bathroom toward my bed, where he unwraps the wet towel and places me ever so gently against the plush sheets of the luxurious bed. Then he covers me with the feather-soft duvet and kisses my forehead and whispers, “I can’t wait to be of service again.”

Then he disappears, and I fall into a deep sleep.

“Fellas,” I say, walking into the club, surprising my brother, Nate. I didn’t think I was going to make it, but when my big meeting was canceled and rescheduled to two weeks later, my calendar opened. And who the hell is going to say no to sun, surf, and sex.

“Bro, what are you doing here?” Nate asks, looking rather surprised as he claps me on the back in a bro hug.

“I needed to check in on my investment,” I tease him.

Nate raises an unimpressed brow in my direction. “Silent partner, remember?” he adds.

Of course, I’m a silent partner in my brother’s venture. There is no way in hell I would give up the opportunity to own part of a sex resort, especially not one as high class as this one. I used my own money to invest and made sure that there was no way of tracing it back to our family’s businesses. There are a lot of prudes in the world and real estate investment is full of them.

Mom and Dad are extremely proud of Nate forging his own path with The Paradise Club and becoming successful in his own right. They worry about what some people might think if they know Nate is their son. And that fact sucks because they shouldn’t have to hide his business from the world, but the circles they run in are ultra-conservative. Nate understands, and he’s okay with my parents’ concerns. My brother has always been a lone wolf and that’s worked in my favor, as I’ve taken over the heir-apparent title from my parents, which was always destined for Nate. Something he was never interested in. Why would he when he’s created his own fantasy island?

“Hey, you remember Axel Taylor from Dirty Texas, don’t you?” Nate reintroduces us.

“Yeah, man ... long time no see,” I say, shaking his hand.

“Yeah, good to see you again. I’ll tell you something, this resort is pretty amazing,” Axel says, giving my brother some high praise.

“I just flew in, so I haven’t seen much.” I can’t wait to get out there and explore everything that’s on offer. I’m not as freaky as my brother, but since my membership to the club, I have started to explore, pushing my boundaries a little more. “But I’m pretty sure my night has just gotten better,” I say, staring at three of the most beautiful women who have entered the room. Axel and Nate follow in the direction I’m looking, but suddenly tension falls across us.

Axel’s face looks like thunder. “They’re nothing but trouble,” he grumbles out.

“Ignore him. He has history with one of them,” Nate tells me.

They know these women?

Have they already hung out with them since arriving?

“Hopefully, not the one in the pink dress?” I state because she’s mine.

Nate looks over to see who I’m talking about. “Nope, lady in red,” he answers for Axel, who’s still scowling at the group of women.

“Good choice.” I chuckle, which earns me a glare from the rock star. My brother shakes his head at my comment.

“Your brother has a thing for his new event planner ... the one in the white,” Axel says, putting my brother right in it. Is this the girl he was talking to me about in London? Damn she’s hot. I let out a whistle in appreciation which earns me a glare from my brother. Now I understand his dilemma in London.

“What about your motto? Never mix business and pleasure. Only make business out of pleasure?” I tease Nate with his iron-clad motto he loves stating pompously to me.
