Lost in Paradise (Paradise Club #2)(2)

When Olivia discussed the details of the weekend, I had to fan myself they were so hot. She thought it was simply one weekend, and she forgot that he’s the brother of the groom until he turned up at her estate.

Look, my girl tried to be strong but have you seen Axel Taylor? I’m surprised she held out for as long as she did, but eventually, she decided to give in, and she had round two of fun with the rock star, that was until her bitch of a sister, Penelope, and Eddie turned up and ruined it all.

Penelope took delight in dropping the bombshell to Axel that Olivia is engaged to Eddie. Yeah, that bit of information went down like a lead balloon, and as you can imagine, Axel was not happy. So much so that he ended up in bed with Penelope. Yeah, what a dick.

Being the best friend I am, I hightailed Olivia out of there, and we headed to her family’s villa in Mustique. That was until my sister called and asked us to come and check out her client’s sex resort.

And here we are.

“I never want to hear the name Axel Taylor or listen to another Dirty Texas song for as long as I live,” Olivia huffs out.

Camryn raises her brows at me behind Olivia’s back while I give her a discrete shake of the head to ask her to leave it alone, to which she nods in agreement. Camryn takes us on a golf cart ride through the rainforest and tells us all about the resort. To say my eyes are wide open with surprise is an understatement. I had no idea there were so many different options when it came to sex. And if I’m being honest, deep down inside, I wouldn’t mind trying some.

“Oh my god, that man is naked.” I gasp as we pass the beach area, where a tall, dark, and extremely well-endowed man is walking out of the ocean along the beach to his towel.

“Get a good look, did ya, sis?” my sister asks as she laughs at my shocked expression.

“Sure did. You can’t miss that thing hanging between his legs.” I turn to tell her, and we all burst out laughing. I may have given him a second glance just to be sure it wasn’t an optical illusion. Definitely wasn’t.

“It was impressive,” Olivia adds, backing me up.

“Wouldn’t mind giving it a bit of a test drive?” Camryn teases me.

She’s taking great delight in my uneasiness. Maybe I should put her on the spot then see how uneasy she is when the spotlight is on her. “So, nothing’s been happening with Nate, then?” I ask.

“Of course not ... I’ve been utterly professional,” my sister answers back quickly.

“Bullshit!” Olivia calls from behind.

“I call bullshit, too,” I add with a smirk.

“Come on, guys, I’m a consummate professional,” my sister moans out the words to us both.

“Professional at riding dick,” I tease.

“Hey!” Camryn chuckles.

“Not saying there’s anything wrong with that, though. Nate is good-looking, and there’s a spark between the two of you. You’re both single. You’re at a sex resort. I mean, hello ... sex is flowing all around you. You can’t tell me you haven’t slipped just once?” I ask.

Camryn remains silent for a couple of beats. “Fine! Yes, okay? I slipped a couple of times.”

I knew it.

“It was good, right?” Olivia questions.

“Of course, it was. The guy owns a sex resort … so he knows what he’s doing.”

“And?” I ask.

“And that’s it. We both had a need to scratch, which we did. But that’s it,” Camryn explains.

“Will you sleep with him again?” I push for a little more.

“Maybe. Maybe not. There are plenty of other men on the resort who are up for a good time.” My sister grins cheekily.

“You’re going to hook up with other people?” I’m a little surprised by her admission.

“Um ... yeah. I don’t have a ring on my finger. We’re both single, so why not?”

“You won’t be jealous?” I ask.

“No. We aren’t in a relationship,” Camryn explains to me.

“Wish I was more like you.” I sigh.

“Oh, babe, I’m sorry.” I can hear the pitying tone in my sister’s voice. “But it is who you are. You’re a good person. You don’t need to change yourself for a guy.”

“I lack confidence. That’s my problem,” I confess.

“You’re the best interior designer in the world,” Olivia says, trying to pep me up.

“Thanks.” I sigh. “I’m so confident when it comes to work and dealing with men, even if I find them attractive, but when I step out of work mode, I turn into this wallflower.”

“But that’s okay, too,” Camryn attempts to reassure me.

“I think I’m missing out on things ... on life ... and above all, really good sex,” I confess the feelings that have been running through my mind since Camryn asked us to come here to the resort.

“Well, you’ve come to the right place to experiment.” Camryn grins.

“You wouldn’t think I was weird?” I ask her.

“What! No. This is an extremely safe environment to test out being someone else. To experiment. To be free.” She reaches out and squeezes my leg, reassuring me.

“Thanks, Camryn.” Giving her a small smile, I feel lighter having voiced my fears.
