Unexpected Eva (Triple Trouble #3)(11)

“What are you thinking?” he asks, breaking me from my lucid daydream.

“How your car is kind of like you. Dark, mysterious, powerful.” It’s exactly like him. “Are you playful?” I side-eye him, wondering what he does for fun and to unwind. All I know about him is that his work dominates his life. He plays golf with my dad. Yikes. And then he spends an infinite amount of time at his hotel resort and spa.

He arches one perfectly manicured, thick brow but doesn’t answer.

He’s deeper than the ocean as I see his brain working overtime.

I want to unpeel all his layers and discover what’s inside the enigma that is Knox Black.

“You all set?” Knox pushes the car into gear as he firmly wraps his strong fingers around the black leather steering wheel with his other hand.

“Yeah. Don’t be too loud when you leave here. Ewan is dating Ruby from down the road.”

“Fuck him.” He does the exact opposite of what I ask, pressing the accelerator hard. The exhaust roars, then pops, ending with an echoing loud bang as he takes off down the empty, dark street.

“You are so naughty.” I laugh.

“You’re about to find out how naughty I can be.”

Maybe he is playful after all.

I can’t wait to find out.

“We’re supposed to be keeping you and me a secret.”

Knox juts his chin out in annoyance.

Knox

Fuck, fuck, fuck. What am I doing?

Bringing Eva back here to my home? For the entire weekend?

Spend the night with me.

My thoughts slipped out of my loose mouth. Very out of character for me.

I seem to have lost all sense of self.

But I want her. So fucking bad.

I never bring women here to my home. It’s too personal. When I do share an evening with a female, always Tabby, I ensure she stays at my hotel suite back at The Sanctuary. I don’t let anyone into my private life. Not even Tabby.

But Eva.

She’s the exception.

Someone who shines the brightest light into my darkest places.

I feel it. Feel her everywhere.

It’s like something sparks within me when she’s around.

I want to tangle myself around her, keep her safe, and fuck her brains out all at the same time.

I find it so fucking confusing.

I’ve been permanently hard for her since I touched her in the corridor of my hotel. When I fetched the car, I called my head of security, Dylan, instructing him to remove the hotel security footage of Eva and me from that moment, until the moment we exited through the concealed doorway.

No way do I want anyone replaying that footage with my hands inside her dress as I skimmed my fingers over the wet lace of her panties. Fuck me.

She’s wet for me. I felt it. I know what I do to her. It’s what she does to me too.

It’s some freaky shit between her and me, and I don’t know what the fuck happens around her, but I can’t see, hear, or think straight.

She’s an enchantress.

Sensing her unease as the electric garage door shuts behind my parked car in my ten-car garage, I reach out to take her hand. “Welcome to my home.”

“Your house is enormous.” She looks around the garage in wonder. “And we aren’t even in the house yet.” She smiles. “Wow. Look at your car collection.” She eyes my multitude of expensive toys.

She’s so carefree and shares how she feels. She loved me going fast in the car earlier, never holding back her elation and joy.

She’s refreshing. Speaks her mind. I could do with a lesson from her on that.

I reach up and run my thumb across her plump bottom lip. I can’t stop touching her.

I’ve never felt attracted to anyone as much as I am to Eva.

“You’re beautiful when you smile.” She’s beautiful all the time. I’m a sucker for her deep dimples.

She shyly dips her turquoise eyes.

I unbuckle myself with haste, lean over the center console between us, cup her face, and pull her lips toward mine, being careful not to startle her too much. The last thing I want to do is scare her with my eagerness. I know the only way to calm her. Orgasms. Mind-blowing orgasms. Make her feel good.

To forget everything but remind her who she is—a sensual, radiant goddess.

Slowly at first, I let our lips explore one another before I push my tongue into her highly fuckable mouth that tastes like sunshine—refreshing and warm. She relaxes at our intimate connection.

She doesn’t know how captivating she is.

Ewan never treated her right. I used to study him at the mixers and events her parent’s hosted at their sports retreat. He took her for granted, ignoring her most of the time. Didn’t see how utterly mesmerizing she is. What an extraordinary mother she is to those boys, and don’t get me started on the dancing.

I could watch her for hours.

Her permanent radiance dazzles me.

While my son, Lincoln, has this super cheerful buzz about him, Eva’s is subtle, bewitching, charming. She bathes the surrounding space in a cloud of calm luminescence.

I swear to God she’s fucking cast a spell on everyone around her. Spellbound. When you’re around her, you can’t look away from her. She holds your attention. It’s some magic supernatural shit. I watched the gentleman seated next to her all evening chatting away to her. He couldn’t stop. She has this undeniable power over you where you want to speak to her all the time. And she listens to everyone, taking it all in. She pays attention; she cares.
