The Grand Pact (The Grand Men #1)(14)

Raising my hand, I palm my breast, gritting my teeth when my nipple hardens under my gentle touch. There’s no doubt in my mind whether Elliot can see them through my top, and the filthy bitch inside of me wants him to see. It’s as if every late night in bed when I’d push into his embrace a little too provocatively is now coming to a head. We’re going into a territory that’s always been forbidden.

“We should stop.”

Please, God, don’t stop him.

“Not until I get what I want.” His words are husky and laced with need, and I wonder how close he is. As close as me?

“And what’s that?” I breathe out, my chest visibly moving.

He takes a couple of steps toward me, and I gasp, fear gripping at my veins and making my blood pump a fraction slower through my body.

“I want you to go to New York—”

“Elliot—”

His hand comes up to grip my jaw in a firm hold, his fingers splaying across the smooth skin at my neck. “Shut that pretty fucking mouth up for a second and listen to me.”

My eyes drop to his lips as his tongue flicks out and traces them.

“Go. Try it. If you hate it, you can come home. But don’t sit around here waiting for Prince Charming to ride on in and give you everything you ever wanted. I may not be the man to take dating advice from, but what I do know is that he isn’t real. What is real is your career, and it’s waiting for you. The rest will come, and when it’s time, it will all happen like you want it to.” His hand shifts between us, and I tense as I wait, apprehension swirling in my lower body over what he’s about to do.

There’s no way he is about to touch me.

He wouldn’t.

We don’t.

“Tell me you’ll go.”

“I can’t—”

Something firm pushes against my aching clit, and I drop my head to see the little black control poised in his strong hand, white knuckled and steady as he toys with me.

“Elliot.” I drop my head back to the wall, and he chuckles, a deep grumble in his chest that travels all the way to the pits of my stomach.

His hand slides from my neck and plants beside my head. “I made a mistake.”

“You did?” My brows knit in confusion.

This is too good.

Too dangerous.

He eases up on the pressure and begins swirling the smooth plastic around my pulsing bud. “You’re adorable, you know that?” He smirks, flashing me his sexy smile. “I don’t want you to tell me you’ll go.” His eyes darken, his face getting impossibly closer. “You sat on this news for what? A month? More? You want to go, I know you do, and you will.”

I swallow the lump in my throat, hating that he can see so clearly through me. It’s thrilling and devastating all in one.

“I want to go,” I admit.

Because I do. It’s been a dream to work with a company like Almendo, and the only thing holding me back is me. I hate myself for it. I preach to my friends to love themselves, to be positive, brave, empowered. Yet I fail to do that for myself.

It’s stupid small things that make up a lifetime of disappointing choices.

I’m afraid life won’t go how I want it to, and it’s debilitating.

“I’m scared, Elliot.”

“I know, princess.” He glides the control over my clit. “And I’ll be here for you: night or day. I can be in New York in what? Five hours—maybe quicker. It’s going to be scary; you’ll be in new situations with new people and an unfamiliar city.”

My stomach tenses. That’s everything I’ve spent the past eight weeks thinking about. Walking the subway, sleeping in a tiny apartment in a high-rise, my neighbours, my colleges—where I will eat, shop, bank—everything.

“But Luce, you’re going to be living your dream. You’ll find a new normal, a new routine with new people. And you will thrive. I know you will.”

My eyes roll as he glides quicker in an up and down motion. Relentlessly. He knows I’m close.

“I might not be the best man to take advice from, and I know you’ll probably take what I say with little regard.” My fingers grasp his wrist, anchoring his hand harder against me as I work my hips shamelessly. “But you know I’m right. I want this for you, and as much as it will suck not having you around for a little while, I’m not selfish enough to keep you.”

Elliot

“Oh my god.”

“Let them see what we all see.”

“Elliot,” she whispers. Her legs tremble as her body rocks desperately into mine, causing my thumb to slide over the remote control and lightly graze her slickened folds.

We both hiss.

“Please,” she begs, fisting my shirt.

My eyes clench tight, knees bending as I try to refrain myself from grinding against her. My cock is rock solid, desperate for the warmth of a tight little pussy to sink into.

“You’ll go to New York.”

“Yes,” she moans.

“Good girl.” I place a kiss on her forehead. “Now, come on my hand so we can go back out there and celebrate your news with our friends.”

“We…” She shudders, and I quickly flatten my thumb, fucking off the controller completely along with all rational thought. A couple of inches, and I could slide my finger into her.
