Bet On It: An Age Gap Billionaire Office Romance(11)

She’d pushed me to the bed, knocking me back on it and then doing a Vegas striptease. I couldn’t explain why, but I loved it. I don’t think it was that she was pushy or demanding or knew what she wanted. I’d been with plenty of women who took control during sex. It might have been the innocence of it. Not that she was sexually innocent. I was sure she’d had sex before. But she hadn’t done this before. She hadn’t hooked up with a man. She hadn’t allowed her sexually playful side out before. She was nervous yet daring, and I ate it up, wanting to give her a night she’d never forget.

When she’d freed my cock, it was all I could do to keep from tugging her over me and sinking into that hot, sweet pussy of hers. I let her get her fill of me through all her senses—sight, touch, taste. I wanted to experience the wonder and joy she was exuding as she explored my body. Sex had always been a physical release more than anything. Like a scratch to an itch.

But with Analyn, it had been something entirely different. When I finally sank into her body, it was beyond anything I could remember. More than sensual delight. More than delicious torture. I didn’t want it to end. Not that night. Hell, maybe not ever.

But it did end. I woke up and she was gone. Like a phantom. All I had was the memory, which haunted me as she continued to star in my nocturnal fantasies when I jerked off in the shower. And because of that, I couldn’t hire her. I couldn’t look at her and think about bending her over my desk . . .

Fuck . . . the image was there. Her sweet, round ass exposed me as she bent over my desk. My cock pounding away, bringing us both to the pinnacle of pleasure.

I shifted as my dick reacted to the scene. I’d never jerked off at work, but I might have to if I couldn’t get rid of the image of fucking Analyn on my desk.

I rolled my shoulders, wondering how my life had gone from ultimate boredom to this conundrum.

But then I had to consider that perhaps Analyn’s walking into my company was the answer to my boredom. Working with her, and wanting to touch her, would definitely be a challenge. A challenge that might make life more interesting.

Analyn

I was able to convince Betts that we should stay in. I mean, why go out when we had all the ice cream and wine that we needed?

I was dressed comfortably, and to be honest, I didn't want to risk running into Reed. Whatever connection or chemistry or whatever it was we had a month ago wasn't there today. In some ways, it might've been worse if it was, because the situation was totally changed.

"I still say that if he's not going to be your boss, it might be worth looking him up again. It sounds like you had a really smokin’ night. But even more than that, it sounded like you two hit it off. You enjoyed each other's company. That's something you could build on."

I wouldn't deny that deep inside, I liked that idea. Although I didn’t feel I needed a man to make my life complete, it would be nice to have a partner. Someone to support and who would support me. Someone to have fun with. And yes, someone to have really great sex with.

There were aspects of the evening I spent with Reed last month that felt like things could have developed into something beyond a hookup. If I'd been living in Las Vegas at the time, I might've actually stayed the next morning, although I woke up feeling a little embarrassed and uncomfortable.

But I’d still been living in Chicago, so there didn't seem to be much purpose in my staying. I imagined if I had stayed, the morning would've been awkward. Things were always different the day after.

Maybe Betts was right and his attitude today was about how I’d left. Or maybe he was just annoyed that a woman he'd slept with on a whim had walked in wanting a job.

"Right now, I need to get a job. That's my only focus. Besides, Reed, as it turns out, is totally out of my league. He's a billionaire, and he's probably twenty years older than me. Surely, he's looking for somebody a little more mature and sophisticated."

Betts reached over, giving me a push. "Don't sell yourself short, girl. Maybe there's an age difference, but it's not like you're just out of high school or college or something. You’re a grown ass woman. A professional grown ass woman. You're smart, you're beautiful, you’re kind. He’d be lucky to have you."

I smiled, tilting over and resting my head on her shoulder. "You're a good friend to have around."

"And don't you forget it."

She reached over to grab the carton of ice cream and the bottle of wine. They were both empty. "Do we need more?"

Since we weren't going anywhere, I thought, why not? “I'm game if you are."

She rose from the couch, grabbing the empty bottle and ice cream container and heading to the kitchen.

While she was there, my phone rang. It seemed a little late to be getting a call regarding a job application, but maybe it was somebody who wanted me to come in for an interview the next day.

I grabbed my phone from where it sat on the coffee table. I checked the caller ID but didn’t recognize the number. Normally, I’d ignore calls like this, but again, it could be a potential employer.

I poked the answer button. "Hello?"

"Analyn . . . Ms. Watts."

Immediately, I tensed. "Mr. Hampton."
